We’re excited to announce that Intelligent Ag is combining forces with Precision Planting and Headsight Harvesting Solutions, all under the Precision Planting name. Stay tuned for more details to come. We’re looking forward to offering farmers solutions for every season!

Q: What aspect of your job do you enjoy the most?

A: I enjoy solving issues and leaving the customer in a better state than when I found them. This may not always be a troubleshooting issue with a product, but speaking with farmers to gather information on what else Intelligent Ag can create and provide to improve their livelihood.

Q: What does a day on the job look like for you?

A: It starts by reviewing the previous day’s workload to identify if there was something else we could have done. Followed by squaring up with the Product Specialist team on a plan for the day or week. Depending on the time of the year, this could be dispatching for service calls, preparing and working trade shows, working with our development teams to implement test products, or a quiet day of reflection, processing information, or promoting the success of my team members.

Q: What inspired you to do what you do today?

A: Agriculture and everything involved with it. It began at a young age by following in my Grandpa’s (farmer) shadow everywhere he went. When he realized that I might be of some use, he traded off a smaller tractor for another with power steering. He said it would be easier for me to handle at a young age. I have been working in ag since. I started before the age of auto steer and VTs, so I experienced how much a little tech here and there can improve your farm and general well being. So I certainly enjoy being apart of a brand that helps to take some of the strain and anxiety out of the day.

Q: What do you enjoy spending your time doing outside of work?

A:  I enjoy being with my children. Making an attempt to provide them with many of the wonderful experiences and memory-making moments I had growing up. We are currently refurbishing a 1936 John Deere Model-A that my great-grandfather purchased and has been in our family ever since. The outdoors is where you will find us otherwise. Trying to stay active. I also take pride in volunteering as a firefighter and a member of our local snowmobile club.

Q: How can farmers learn more about Intelligent Ag and our products?

A: Easy, give our sales or support team a call, stop by our booths at trade shows, visit our website or navigate to our YouTube channel. Word of mouth from the neighbor seems to create a good deal of buzz for us too.
